Talbott Street

The positive: Great beer and drink prices! I grew up in Indiana, but have lived in Minneapolis now in Washington DC. So, I was less than impressed with Talbott Street when compared to the clubs in the Twin Cities and DC. The Drag Show was not really very good if you have seen the shows in larger more liberal cities. However, I do understand that it is Indiana and that you have to keep that in mind. So, for Indiana, I guess it was pretty good. The dance area was not very active and it was a Saturday night at midnight. That was really strange to me. I'm used to the club poppin' at midnight with bodies all over the dance floor. Maybe it was an off night. Although it wasn't what I was used to, it was nice to have a bar like this to go to here in the Bible belt.

I don't like drag shows or smoky bars so I don't go here.

There was a group of 6 of us that went to this bar and it was great. Different bars, good music and the drag show was exceptional! We noticed quite a few str8 people who were having a great time as well. Like the one poster said, different bars within the complex has different prices........... so walk around!

No where in Indiana can you go where the straight, Bi, gay, or what ever you want to call yourself play side by side, and get along so well. Three bars and one great show, the girls work hard to put on the best in Indy, and they manage every time. This is a must for that special group party. Love it.

I live just outside of Indy and this is one of my favorite bars and I'm not even gay! It's so much fun, Saturday's are the best--you can see a drag show in the lounge or dance on the main floor or go up to the sky bar and sit and drink! The bartenders are the nicest and make great drinks! The drag queens are so funny and entertaining! The staff is always pleasant and fantastic! Cover is usually $5-$8 (depending on the dj). Always a good time!
