Join IndyTennis on Saturday, September 6, 2014 for the Tennis-Poker Charity Challenge to benefit the Indiana AIDS Walk. Suggested donation of $25, whether playing in the tournament or not. Donations can be applied towards the tournament, see below.
This unique event will challenge all of us who enjoy watching tennis, as the U.S. Open Semis for men will be on the big screens, while playing in a Texas Holdem Poker charity tournament. All funds raised will go to the Indiana AIDS Walk, which benefits the Gregory Powers DEFA Fund, helping to make a better and more secure community for those living with HIV/AIDS.
The tennis is scheduled to begin at 12, so the TVs will be on then and socializing with snacks donated by Downtown Olly's can commence.
At or around 12:30, the Charity Texas Holdem Tournament begins. Players can enter the tournament for FREE, but will receive only limited starting chips. Players can receive add-on chips by donating to the AIDS Fund. Prizes to the winner and runner-up will be awarded. More details TBA.
