Circle of Lights

For 53 years, thousands of spectators have gathered Downtown at Monument Circle to see the most spectacular holiday display illuminate. Indiana’s most beloved tradition is here again. Circle of Lights® presented by the Contractors of Quality Connection and Electrical Workers of IBEW #481 will take place the day after Thanksgiving. From 6–7 p.m., performers chosen from local auditions take the stage and put everyone in the holiday spirit. From 7–8 p.m., the live, WTHR-13 televised show takes place. Santa will make a mysterious entrance. The winner of the Coloring Contest appears on stage and greets Santa. To conclude the evening, Southwest Airlines® Presents the Circle of Lights spectacular fireworks finale. Circle of Lights by the numbers: • 53 years • 52 garland light strands • 4,784 lights • 52 larger-than-life toy soldiers, sailors and candy can poles surround the Circle • 6+ miles of electrical wire and 2+ miles of garland are used for the centerpiece décor
