Gregs Indy Formerly: Our Place

(145 Ratings)
Indy's hottest gay bar with daily drink specials to die for
Not only is this the oldest gay Levi-leather bar in the city, but it has also fought for LGBTQ+ rights and visibility for nearly 40 years of business. A place of joy, amazing drink specials every day, and sweaty bodies gyrating all night make Gregs Indy one of the premier spots in the city.

I seem to go at the wrong times to meet new people. I would really like to get together and have some fun and entertainment

Not a review - a question

Hi, will be visiting Indy in the next several weeks - I don't go out much anymore but when traveling I do, nice to socialize and of course maybe find someone who can give it to you up the can! (safely) - I was wondering if Greg's is the place to go in Indy as far as the hottest guys and the best opportunity to find Mr. Right Now ;) Please let me know. Sorry if my question offends in an area really meant for reviews, if there's a place to ask such questions on this site, please let me know, peace out!

Great place to go before 8

I love going to Greg's as long as I go before 8. I have been going there consistently since I turned 21 (9 years ago). It has always been great staff-wise. I have always had to leave after 8 though. There seem to be a lot of inherently racist people that frequent the bar later in the evening and; honestly, it's difficult to deal with. I go there for a welcoming atmosphere and the absolute ignorance of some of the guests is too much to deal with. I was attacked and called a racist because I defended people of color. This is not acceptable in any LGBT establishment. We need to support each other, not have drunken fools running around picking fights with people. I won't go back unless it is before 8, which seems to be the time for the racist twats come out to show their ass. I do love the staff and the service. I tend to spend a lot of money and tip well, but honestly cannot handle the later crowd. This is the second night I have had ruined by such inappropriate guests.

Chill AF

The night I went, it wasn't super busy. My friend and I got to play darts and pool, which was a lot of fun. The bar tender we were helped by was awesome! I asked for a drink he didn't know and he immediately looked it up so he could make it.

It's okay

The music could be better. The bartenders are nice. The outside area is a good spot.
