A Moderated Conversation with Former First Lady Michelle Obama

Women’s Fund, a special interest fund of Central Indiana Community Foundation, is proud to welcome former first lady Michelle Obama to Central Indiana. Her passion to empower women and girls aligns with the work and mission of Women’s Fund. As a transformative first lady, Mrs. Obama launched and led four key initiatives: Let Girls Learn, to help adolescent girls around the world go to school; Reach Higher, to inspire young people to seek higher education; Let’s Move!, to address the challenge of childhood obesity; and Joining Forces, to support veterans, service members and their families. Alecia DeCoudreaux, a founding board member of Women's Fund, will serve as moderator for the evening. DeCoudreaux is the former president of Mills College, a liberal arts college for women, as well as a former Eli Lilly and Company executive.
