This unique event will be hosted by IYG's Lane Banister & Hoosier author Chrissy Garrison, Participants will engage with Indiana trans advocacy and support organizations at our free Health and Wellness Fair, 5p - 7p, before listening to writer, film producer, director, and LGBT activist Andrea James share her experience of being trans in Indiana over the years, from 7p to 9p. There will be a Q&A to follow. Other trans Hoosiers will also share their stories, including Warren Central High School student Treymeere Bigbee; Kimberly Acoff, a caseworker for the Department of Child Services; Hawthorn Mineart, managing editor for Indiana Transgender Network; and Butler University students Ariel Laukins & Basil.
