Lunch Break Series: Gershwin & Bernstein

Event Update: The Indianapolis Symphony Orchestra believes that music provides healing and connects our community. For this Lunch Break Series performance, we’d like to open our doors for a free concert to provide an environment where we can continue to reflect on what has happened in Orlando and honor the victims, families, friends and others who have been affected by this tragedy. The ISO will be joined by the Indianapolis Men's Chorus as they perform before the show on Monument Circle (weather permitting). All tickets that have been purchased for this event will be refunded. - - - This summer, bring your lunch, pick any seat, and relax for a 40-minute performance of classical favorites during your lunch hour. The Fifth Third Lunch Break Series is different each time and showcases the versatility of your Indianapolis Symphony Orchestra. Kick off the summer music celebration with this performance featuring Bernstein’s Three Dance Episodes from On the Town, Gershwin’s Rhapsody in Blue and Dvorák’s Symphony No. 9 (“New World”).
