First timer to Indy Gay Bar
$5 dollars cover not unusual at all . I really liked the layout of the bar and the dance floor . Upstairs was a nice view of the dance area . Private areas to sit down with your friends was a nice luxury . Music was ok . The only bad thing i noticed is 3 different bars to order drinks from and 3 different prices for the same drinks . I drank Captain and coke all night and the price was a different price everytime I ordered . Not sure what the deal was on that . Overall I gave this place a 4 out of 5 rating if drinks had stayed the same all night it would have gotten a 5 from me . I will visit this place again .
Fun Bar
Me and my boyfriend have been going here at least once a month since I turned 21 and we love it. It is a very trendy bar that is great for danceing. The guys are hot, music loud, and they have great drag shows. They definately focas more on the younger hip crowd which for us is a plus. While we feel they should hire real bartenders who have good service skills in the end Talbott hold a little place in our heats. And if your in your twenties and want to hang out at a gay club with a crowd of people your own age this is about your only choice.
Jealous because they didnt get any at the club!!!!
i prefer to differ..bc i have been going to this club for a couple of years now and i think its wonderful..and fun..i love the girls there for the show and the dancing is phenomenal.... thanx
Over-rated. And Over-Priced
They charge a cover for a over priced club as for drinks... I am a former major club promoter from Tampa and from experience I would say that they are loosing focus, and from my knowledge its the ownership that is turning the bar into more of a lesbian venue. Advice get there early, drink on their before cover drink specials and then hit OP/ Gregg's I have seen lots of drag shows, I was not impressed at all. It seems Friday they don't have a cover, yet don't open the upstairs that they so notoriously market. I was very disappointed on my visit. It was like a show club for drag, so if thats your thing. Check it out...
Equal to the former
Talbott Street is a wonderful place. It has given New life to the area and the audience. Things were great before in the 80's but even better now.
